What size does my child need to be?

We try our best to accommodate all children, Bambino karts are designed for drivers between 105cm-130cm in height, whilst Cadet karts are for between 125cm-150cm tall, if your outside of these guidelines please email us and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Any age restrictions?

Official racing age in the UK is from 6 years in Bambinos and 8 years in Cadets, although we allow drivers to begin their training with us a year earlier from 5-8 years in Bambino and 7-12 in Cadet.

How much driving will I get?

Our Stage 1 programme lasts just under 4 hours, all children will get 3 on track sessions of driving between 10-15 minutes per session, Stages 2 & 3 include racing and more time behind the wheel driving.

Can anyone book?

Yes, providing drivers meet the age and height criteria our karting academy is open to everyone, boys and girls all welcome.

What if it's raining?

We will only cancel or postpone events due to extreme weather conditions, all the best F1 drivers learned how to drive in the rain, we have wet weather tyres and waterproof suits to protect your little drivers.

How fast do the karts go?

Bambino karts are capable of speeds up to 40mph whilst Cadet karts can do 60mph, we restrict the speeds in our stage 1 programme to ensure drivers are in control whilst they learn the basic handling of the karts.

Can I bring my own Kart?

Unfortunately owner drivers are not allowed at our stage 1 and 2 events as these are focused on customers using our own equipment, but we do accommodate kart owners to come along and have their own sessions and races at our stage 3 and championship events, email us to find out more.

Can Spectators come?

Yes of course, feel free to bring all the family to watch your future star learn how to drive.

What is provided?

Everything is provided in our stage 1 and 2 programmes, Karts, suits, gloves and balaclavas, if you have your own safety gear then please feel free to bring it, but everything is available and included in the the price of your day.

Do you sell karts?

Yes, if your driver is enjoying themselves and you want to buy your own kart we can advise you on what's best for you and your budget.

Is there food available?

We privately hire circuits for our own exclusive use so often any on site food outlets are closed, We do serve light refreshments at reception but we will email you full details before your booking to remind you if you need to bring food and drinks with you.

Can i take photos?

Yes of course, you can take photos and videos of your own child from the safety of the spectator areas, we also often have our own photographer on site capturing memories you can buy.
